At a charity gala, Sophie ran in screaming that Olivia's brother Liam had assaulted her in the garden. Olivia slapped her. Her husband Ethan took Sophie's side.
Olivia made a bet: if Liam was guilty, she'd give up control of the family fund. If innocent, Ethan would kneel a hundred times and walk away with nothing. Liam showed up without a scratch. Sophie faked suicide. Ethan grabbed a broken bottle—Olivia stopped him.
The DNA test came back. A match. Liam was cornered.
Old Hudson ordered punishment. At the last second, Olivia grabbed a letter opener and cut open Liam's shirt—
Black lace bra.
The whole room froze. Liam was a woman. Had been pretending for over twenty years.
Sophie claimed she was transgender. Liam kicked Ethan to the floor. A maid confirmed the truth by touching her chest. The family doctor was about to read the chromosome test results.
The truth was one page away. But Sophie and Ethan's faces were already white.
