Orphan Ruby was born without a wolf. Branded as an "ill omen" by the wolf clan, she endures constant rejection. In truth, she carries the rare "Little Red Riding Hood" bloodline, granting her the powers of healing, curse-breaking, and seeing the future.
Taken as a maid by Kelly, the mistress of the Ice Wolf King, Ruby suffers relentless abuse. Her wolf tooth amulet — the only relic bearing the truth of her origins — is stolen by Kelly's daughter, Abigail.
Driven to despair, Ruby flees. By chance, she is adopted by the Fire Wolf King and Queen, becoming the little princess of the Fire Wolf Kingdom. She uses her gifts to heal her people, lift curses, and repeatedly foil the Ice Wolf King's plots, slowly earning the love and trust of the entire royal family.
But then Abigail appears, wearing the stolen amulet and passing herself off as the Fire Wolf Kingdom's long-lost princess. With the truth of the real princess shrouded in doubt and conflict rising between the two clans, how will Ruby rise to meet this challenge...
