Der Schutzengel des Paten

On a snowy Thanksgiving, young healer Rita lives with her ungrateful uncle William and his cruel family. They exploit her powers, sabotage her feast, and secretly hire a thug to drive her away. Hunted and alone, she is rescued by mafia godfather Richard Genovese and his wife. Discovering their kindness and lack of an heir, they adopt her. On the journey, Rita's powers save them from crises, alarming Richard's rival. At the manor, she heals Richard's dying father, Arthur, and finds a lost heirloom. Her courage and abilities win the family's trust. Rita becomes a true Genovese, protecting her new family with everything she has.
