Two weeks before the launch of VANTA—a global brand campaign centered on couples—Mia Carter, founder of an independent brand consultancy, finds herself betrayed by her boyfriend and business partner, Daniel Reed. Not only does he end their relationship, but he also defects to a rival, Olivia Shaw, taking their core clients with him. To save the VANTA project, secure the next round of funding, and protect her team, Mia must find a "perfect fiancé"—someone convincing enough to satisfy the market—in an impossibly short timeframe. Meanwhile, Ethan Blake, heir to the Blake conglomerate, faces scrutiny from his company’s board following a personal scandal. His father, Richard, issues an ultimatum: repair his public image immediately, or forfeit his chance to succeed as CEO and lose access to his family trust. Five years earlier, Mia and Ethan were a powerhouse duo—and bitter rivals—at an advertising agency, until Ethan sabotaged her proposal in front of everyone just as she was on the verge of becoming a partner; it remains the deepest wound of her professional career. Now, the two enter into a fake engagement, each getting what they need. But as they navigate public appearances, cohabitation, intense family scrutiny, and a relentless media circus, their purely transactional arrangement begins to spiral out of control. With the truth about what happened five years ago finally surfacing, Daniel and Olivia conspiring against them, and Richard manipulating public opinion at every turn, Mia and Ethan must ultimately decide: will they continue to treat love as nothing more than a PR project, or will they abandon the lives they had meticulously planned for each other?
