Eleanor, whose IQ is that of an 8-year-old, was pushed into the pool by her younger sister Winnie and forced to marry the “disabled” Grayson in her place. Grayson, believing her to be Winnie, was initially wary of her, but as they spent time together, he discovered her innocence and kindness. After falling for her, he realized she wasn’t Winnie at all—but Eleanor—and from then on, he began to shower her with affection. Step by step, Grayson helped her regain her dignity, heal her emotional wounds, and restore her intellectual abilities. In the end, the two lived happily ever after.
