Betrayed by brother Damocles, Spartan General Agis's soul enters teen Areus to protect widow Selene. He rises in the arena, shatters blades, and unleashes past fury. Damocles sells Sparta to Athens. Agis defeats invaders, ruins his brother, but awakens in his original body—the rebirth was a projection. The real Areus is cornered. The God of War returns for vengeance and Sparta.
