Seven years ago, Jane was left alone, about to give birth on a snowy New York night. Years later, Jane lies critically ill after a work injury while her daughter Mia begs on the streets. Their greedy uncle tries to seize Jane’s compensation money and abandons the mother and daughter.
Mia takes a necklace token to find Eason, her biological father — a Wall Street tycoon — at a Manhattan gala to beg for medical funds. Tricked by wealthy socialite Grace, Eason mistakes Mia for a scammer and turns her away. Grace teams up with the uncle and hires gangsters to eliminate the pair, while the uncle steals Jane’s compensation.
Eason later uncovers the truth and realizes he nearly destroyed his own family. Gangsters posing as officers surround Jane and attempt to kidnap Mia. Eason arrives with his private convoy to rescue Mia. Mia offers part of her liver to save Jane, and Eason also donates part of his liver for Jane’s surgery.
Grace grows jealous and uses media slander to attack Jane and Mia. Eason publicly defends his family. Grace appeals to Eason’s family and paints the mother and daughter as threats. Eason’s uncle seeks to seize Eason’s position. Once the family patriarch learns about his granddaughter, he overrides the opposition and welcomes Jane and Mia home.
Eason launches ruthless retaliation. He shorts his uncle’s businesses with billions and exposes Grace’s crimes to federal authorities. Cornered, the uncle kidnaps Jane and Mia. Jane sacrifices herself to protect Mia, but Eason storms the hideout and rescues them. All villains face justice. The family reconciles and welcomes a second child.
