For ten years, Sandra lived as a full-time housewife, only to be met with indifference from her husband, Samuel, who lavished his affection on his mistress, Deborah. Even her son, Larry, was won over by Deborah—going so far as to publicly declare, "I want Aunt Deborah to be my mother." Sandra divorced Samuel and took custody of their daughter, Ruth. She returned to the field of physics—a passion she had abandoned a decade earlier for her marriage—and, under the guidance of a mentor, achieved a perfect score to take first place in an international physics competition within just one month. Her ex-husband attempted to frame her for cheating, but the scheme backfired: he ended up suspended and under investigation for defamation and bribery, his mistress fled, and his mother was arrested and imprisoned. As Sandra took the stage at an international scientific forum, her ex-husband appeared with their son, begging her to return. She calmly declined, then walked toward a brilliant, illuminated future, hand in hand with her daughter and Scott.
