"Vivian and Chuck, step‑siblings from a blended family, have kept their five‑year‑long romance a secret. Chuck originally pursued Vivian out of revenge against her mother. When Vivian stumbles upon the truth, her heart is shattered. She pays back all the Bast family’s living expenses, applies for studies in London, and leaves silently to end their toxic relationship.
After finding himself blocked and learning Vivian is gone, Chuck finally realizes his genuine feelings and rushes to London to win her back. In London, Vivian meets Iris, the son of her mother’s old friend, who gives her gentle comfort. Obsessed with getting Vivian back, Chuck resorts to harassment and even kidnapping. A terrible car accident happens during the chase, leaving him in a vegetative state.
Letting go of her painful past and twisted love, Vivian graduates two years later. She chooses Iris and embarks on a brand‑new life."
