Arthur was once a lowly elderly miner in a gold-mining town. His wife Jessica, who had stood by him through half a lifetime of hardships, abandoned him for the ruthless mining tyrant Rick, complaining that he would never strike gold. She even publicly barred him from seeing their young son. After being run down by Rick’s Ford Raptor pickup truck, Arthur unexpectedly awakened a X-ray vision superpower. With this ability, he could peer underground to spot hidden gold veins and discern the true value of any object. Arthur’s rags-to-riches journey began when he detected overlooked gold deposits in a discarded mine deemed completely barren. He struck it rich through drilling and mining, stole the spotlight at an auction for abandoned mining rights, and crossed paths with Victoria, the powerful female CEO of a top-tier mining conglomerate. Faced with sabotage from his greedy uncle Hank and relentless harassment from Rick, Arthur decided to stop holding back. He amassed staggering wealth using his extraordinary vision, bought up all of his enemies’ outstanding debts, and partnered with the armed sheriff to seize their properties through legal channels. Crushing his foes with overwhelming wealth and influence, Arthur won back custody of his son and built a colossal golden empire of his own.
