"In medieval Europe, Duke Renaud von Hohenzollern, a ruthless nobleman, marries Isabella Lancaster to protect her family from execution over treason charges.
Isabella believes Renaud destroyed her family and attempts to kill him, only to be imprisoned in the North Tower. Two years later, Renaud brings a beautiful gypsy woman, Katerina, to the castle and deliberately favors her to provoke Isabella.
Katerina discovers Isabella is pregnant and brutally tortures her, leaving her seemingly dead. Renaud returns too late and, believing Isabella is gone, executes Katerina in revenge.
But Isabella survived.
Rescued by Gavin, she disappears for six years, raising her son Elliott under a new identity. When Renaud encounters her again, he recognizes her immediately and begins an obsessive search to bring her home.
Meanwhile, Margaret, the rebel leader's sister and Renaud's former mistress, launches a rebellion to seize his territory. Renaud defeats the rebellion, while Isabella finally learns the truth behind her family's downfall.
Her hatred finally fades, and Isabella returns to Blackstone Castle as Duchess. The family is reunited, and peace finally returns to the land."
