Countess Arabella Ashford is reborn after her husband Edward, his mistress Cecilia, and her mother-in-law Margaret conspire to drown her. She pretends to cooperate and “hands” the estate to Edward, but secretly sets traps using trust debts and a DNA test. Edward ends up homeless, Margaret is imprisoned, and Cecilia is exposed. Under Duke Alexander’s protection, Arabella reclaims everything and begins a new life.
