Sienna Lin, laid off and in debt, inherits a villa, connecting her via a cross-time exchange system with poor scholar Ash Jensen from the Grand Jing Dynasty. Sienna sells Ash's ancient items (e.g., a hoe for 200,000 RMB), sending him modern supplies. They fight corrupt merchants and forces, facing crises. A permanent portal opens, and Ash, now top scholar, travels to be with her. Their love story is a mutual salvation.
