A servant, Linda, secretly brings her human baby to work while caring for the newborn Luna Princess, the heir to the powerful wolf pack, the Mortons. When rogue wolves attack and try to steal Linda's child, she convinces them to take the Luna baby instead. Terrified of punishment, Linda and the house manager Edgar lie to Alpha James Morton and his wife Jane, claiming Linda's baby is actually the Luna Princess. Jane immediately notices something suspicious—the baby's Luna charm bracelet is missing.
The kidnapped wolf baby is found in the forest by an old woman named Maude, who had been about to take her own life. Seeing the baby's bracelet and wolf birthmark, Maude believes it is a divine sign and decides to raise her as her own daughter, naming her Eleanor. Eleanor grows up hiding her wolf nature.
