In his past life, Jack abandoned his biological parents and pregnant wife to return to the wealthy Houghton family; ultimately, he was discarded once they had drained him of all value, and his wife and daughter met tragic deaths because of him. Reborn on Christmas Eve in 1964, Jack rejects the Houghtons and returns to his wife, Winnie. Leveraging memories from his previous life—starting with selling firewood and potatoes and eventually founding the "Golden Stitch" clothing brand—he leads the Allen family to a triumphant turnaround, bankrupting the Houghtons and safeguarding his wife, child, and true home.
