After a failed confession and a suicide note, Jackson realizes he’s his own past self from 18 years ago. Disgusted, he ditches romance and chases cash. He tips off police, bags a reward, and starts a business. "Why are you so cold now?" asks the campus belle. "Just a joke. Move on." "You said you liked me!" "Not interested." "I'll cry and never speak to you again!" "Cry if you want. Not my problem." He builds an empire, finds love, and learns the cruel truth: the more you chase, the colder she gets; the moment you stop, she breaks.
