Prosecutor Avery Shaw is run off a cliff while investigating Northstar Energy. Rescued by Mason Reed—a man with old bullet scars and a dead man's identity—she learns the crash was a hit. When Northstar thugs corner her, Mason reveals himself as the company's founder, left for dead five years ago. He saves elderly residents from a frozen care center using his founder access, then walks into a press conference where Victor Hale declared him dead. Mason revives his 61% ownership on live TV, standing beside Avery as a countdown begins. The dead man is back—and he's not alone.
