Seven years ago, Elena was the brightest star at flight academy—destined to become a captain.
But she traded her wings for love. She married Captain Michael, gave up her flying dream, and became a ground controller—watching his every takeoff and landing from the radar screen. For seven years, she endured his mother's cruelty, her husband's growing indifference, and swallowed every humiliation in silence.
On their anniversary, she prepared a surprise—but a car accident on the way to the hospital took her unborn child. She called Michael, trembling. He hung up on her. Then came the cruelest blow: diagnosed with stomach cancer, she walked in on Michael holding hands with flight attendant Jessica in the hospital corridor.
In that moment, something inside her died.
Elena signed the divorce papers, walked away with nothing, and returned to her father—the founder of Eastwind Airlines. With his encouragement, she earned her pilot's license once again, rising from the ashes at breathtaking speed to become a top-tier captain.
During a high-stakes international rescue mission—extreme weather, mudslides, stranded citizens—Elena kept her cool and brought everyone home safely. She became a national hero in the aviation world.
And Michael finally learned the truth: the ex-wife he discarded was the sole heir to an aviation empire. He fell to his knees, drowning in regret, begging for a second chance. But by then, Julian was already by Elena's side—a doctor who had secretly loved her for ten years, heir to a prestigious medical family.
Faced with her ex-husband's belated remorse, Elena had only one thing to say:
—"This time, I fly for myself."
