Rena forcibly married her half-brother and the family heir, Damiano. They were bitter enemies for three years. But later, a civil war broke out within the family, and Damiano died fighting to protect Rena. Rena then turned around and embraced him, willing to die together with him. But just before her death, she realized that Damiano's last thought was still about his illegitimate sister Mia. This time, she decided to allow Damiano and Mia to get married and marry the disabled lunatic Nero instead.
