Crown Prince Nicholas of Vale is forced into a political marriage. The Queen hires former special forces soldier Lucas to pose as his assistant for close protection. They fall for each other over time, only to uncover the royal frame-up of Lucas’s father. At the live engagement ceremony, they expose the conspiracy together. Nicholas abandons the throne and lives a quiet seaside life with Lucas.
