Lucy was eight when the car crashed. She threw herself over her twin brother Ryan. She saved his life. Their grandmother took one of Lucy's kidneys anyway. Then she abandoned her. Linda found Lucy and raised her as Kate. Ten years passed. Linda got sick. The money that could save her was stuck with Morgan Group. Kate went to collect it. Her birth mother and brother looked at her like she was a stranger. A liar. A thief. She still saved Ryan's life in secret. They still treated her like dirt. They still wanted her last kidney. Then Duke recognized her. The ring. The scars. The truth was closing in. But Ashley, her old friend, moved first. She faked scars. She faked DNA. She ran into Susan's arms and called her "Mom." Behind the door, the real Lucy was strapped to an operating table. The knife was already aimed at her only remaining kidney. Jack was racing with the real DNA results. Duke was throwing his body against the door. Could they reach her in time?
