Luna, a natural-born witch, was adopted by Morrigan, headmistress of Eclipse Academy, but failed her promotion to elder witch three times. Sent to the human world to find her biological parents, she was detained by police and confirmed through DNA testing to be the Sterling family’s daughter who had been missing for eighteen years. The Sterlings favored their adopted daughter Vivian, who used potions from the dark wizard Malakar to frame Luna. Luna exposed her schemes, lifted the curses from her family, and fell in love with Julian, a wealthy man under a curse. After Luna defeated Malakar, Morrigan was near death. Luna gave up her chance to become headmistress, used up her magic to heal Morrigan, and became an ordinary person, learning that the true meaning of magic is protecting loved ones.
